Kolab and Thunderbird CardBook issue

Hello,

I just tried CardBook, a Thunderbird extension with CardDav support,
apparently their latest update made it usable.

However it seems that it does not play too nicely with Kolab.
For reason still to be defined, I cannot get the contacts already on the
server synchronized locally.
On the other hand, when I create a contact locally, it is synchronized
on the server.

Anyone with some experience with Kolab and CardBook?

Thanks

Olivier

Hi,

Thanks for this quick answer.
I will still try to find a solution and make CardBook to work.
Otherwise I follow your suggestion.

I will answer to my own issue.
I have been able to talk to the developer of CardBook who was very
helpful and we found the problem.

And it is very simple, when you go in Kolab using Roundcubemail and you
use it to get the CardDav URL of your addressbook, Kolab converts it to
a URL friendly format, meaning that @ becomes %40.
The problem is that CardBook converts again this URL so %40 become
