Hello,

I tried to download kolab, but there seems to be a problem with the
authentication key.

file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/kolab.list:

deb http://obs.kolabsys.com/repositories/Kolab:/16/Ubuntu_16.04/ ./
deb-src http://obs.kolabsys.com/repositories/Kolab:/16/Ubuntu_16.04/ ./

and when I then execute
wget -q -O- https://ssl.kolabsys.com/community.asc | apt-key add -

I get the error:
gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found.

Hi,
i think you should try this:
apt-key adv --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-keys
79D86A05FDE6C9FB4E43A6C5830C2BCF446D5A45

Rgds.
